Which paper stock should I choose?

By job, and we’ll say it plainly: heavyweight cover for street and gig work, satin for promo and lobby posters, museum matte for art and photography. When a cheaper stock is genuinely enough, we say that too — the right paper is the one the wall deserves, not the priciest one.

Matte, satin or gloss?

Accepted Answer

Matte swallows glare and reads like a gallery; satin keeps colour punch while staying readable under lobby lights (it is the cinema standard for a reason); full gloss is maximum pop and maximum reflection, best kept away from bright lighting. We recommend per poster, not per price list.

How do posters ship without creases?

Small runs flat between rigid boards; large formats rolled print-side-out on heavy cores in rigid tubes; mounted boards corner-protected. A creased poster is a refund, not a product — the packing is engineered accordingly, and we tell you which method your order gets before you pay.

Can you print posters for outdoor use?

Paper outdoors lasts as long as weather allows and no longer — fine for a week of street postering, wrong for a season. For genuinely outdoor, long-term jobs we’ll say so and point you at vinyl and rigid signage specialists; paper is our craft and honesty about paper is part of it.

Do you handle art print editions?

Accepted Answer

Yes — archival inks, museum stocks, colour proofed on the actual paper with the artist approving the proof rather than a screen, and numbered editions handled with edition discipline. It costs more than poster-grade and we’ll tell you when a job doesn’t need it.
